| - This place didn't disappoint, from reading the reviews about it and deciding to do a visit here. Since honestly, those who say the beer options can be a little limited near the Strip are right. It was a good stop to go to after Pinball Hall of Fame, since it made up for the fact that the beer options at some of the stores selling beer were often limited, save for some limited exceptions.
Didn't try the food(I'd like to next visit), but the service was friendly. I like how laid back it was, that you could play pool/billiards here if you wanted to in a side room, and that the ventilation was actually very, very decent for a smoking bar. It was the furthest from feeling like an overwhelmingly smoky bar, and they got the ventilation issue down correctly!
There are local city buses that do run out to this area too, both on Nellis Blvd. and Flamingo Road. Unlike some reviews I saw here, Tripadvisor, etc., the nearby area didn't feel creepy at all. I can see why some might be creeped out by seeing RVs and a trailer park, but it's fenced off from Nellis where it didn't bother me at all. I am more street savvy and watchful for dangers on streets vs. outside, so YMMV. Las Vegas' bus system does have a real time bus tracker, and there's a bus stop across the street so you can time walking leaving this bar, and catching the next bus on Nellis. There's a 24/7 Walgreens you can run into at Flamingo Rd/Nellis Blvd/Boulder Hwy, in case you have to kill time transferring to the Flamingo Rd bus, or vice versa.
