  • Very disappointed in Dr Wurm and her office. I got an IUD insert over a year ago (which I had numerous issues with) and I happened to have a bladder infection at the same time. I paid my copay of $60 to get the IUD inserted at the time of check-in. When I was going to pee in the cup for the mandatory pregnancy test I told the check-in nurse I had a bladder infection to test my pee for that as well. The doctor said yep you have an infection then gave me a prescription then inserted the IUD. I had multiple visits after that and one day I was told I owed money. I disputed the claim since I always pay my copay at the time. A year later of me fighting this Rhonda informs me that I owe the additional $60 for the bladder infection. Because Dr Wurm says it is two separate visits. That if you go in and have a bladder infection while getting an IUD put in that constitutes an additional $60. The funny part is she got paid over $1000 for my visit but wants to send me to collections over $60 because I dont think I should owe the $60. Not one person at the time of the visit alerted me to the additional fee. Rhonda said that its not their job to tell me that there is an additional copay (double copay) that they can add it afterward without the patient's knowledge Per Rhonda this was doctor Wurms decision to charge the additional fee. So I lost my doctor over $60 bucks. I paid them the $60 but they sent it to collections (without my knowledge) so now they say I owe the collection agency who I dont have a contract with an additional $30. HAHA. I will be disputing this with my insurance, on my credit report. Etc. The really messed up part is I had to go back multiple time due to issues with the IUD that Dr Wurm falsely reported on my medical records claiming other issues instead of the IUD. I had to go to a urologist who told me that the IUD was the cause of my issues. Dr Wurm told me numerous times that it couldn't be the IUD that I must have infections from something else. As soon as it got removed all my issues went away. Shocker. Dr Wurm I thought was an honest doctor but its clear that she doesn't care about her patients.
