  • Laundry...one of the curses of the existence of renters... Do I take care of laundry at the apartment complex, with washers and dryers with higher prices, or do I carry the laundry to a washomat? As Wash 'n Clean world advertises a 50 cent wash, it inspires thinking twice. The 50 cent wash is available between 1 and 5 AM. Because my current work schedule allows me to take advantage of the 50 cent wash, I tried. The wash is good as long as the washers are not over-filled. Fill 'em to the top of the holes in the wash container. If you fill 'em beyond that, the agitation will not move sufficiently. Once the wash is done, the dryers are great. Jeans and towels only take 2 quarters (15 minutes per) to dry the loads. Adjust permanant press on the power indicator and you will get acceptable results for shirts, etc. A decent laundry option for a good price...it's all about the timing.
