rev:text	I always like to start with the good in a place. People tent to focus on the negative and often miss a great opportunity because they can't read or see the good. So let's start there. This hotel has an amazing staff. From the valet guys, to the front reception staff. To the amazing bar and waiter staff. No kidding even the security staff seemed 5 stars all the way. Upon arriving in my room the ac was set to a perfect temperature and for the entire time I stayed there it worked amazing. Never once did I return to my room from being out side in the 114 degree temp and feel like my room was not cool. In that heat a cold room is a blessing. Plus for me I like leaving the curtains open so I can see the sunrise or the city night lights. And my ac still kicked butt and kept the room perfect. I felt with 4 bartenders on a regular basis. Each one of them were different yet all of them wanted to make sure that my experience was the best it could possibly be. And not just from a normal I want big tips stand point. No I mean a genuine concern and care for their customer's. The food here is amazing as well. Please feel free to look at my review and photos of the district bar that's located inside this hotel. Sadly I did not have time to get out to the pool but many of my colleagues did. And all of them were super impressed with the 4th floor pool and oh yes another bar as well. The staff truly caters to the guest and rewards them for things like, helping the hotel go green by waiving daily house keeping. For each day you skip they offer 500 points or 5 bucks off food or drink down stairs. They have a full stocked bar with hundreds of domestic liquors, wines, and my personal favorite local craft beers. The Epicenter amber, or the Kilt Lifter are two of my favorites. The lobby and restaurants are very in touch with the local artist and proudly display their talents on the walls. As a super added bonus. You can purchase any of the art that you see. And trust me I almost bought the most amazing two canvas set in ocean blue pearl white and mirrored ascents. It was beautiful. The hotel also offers taxis on site for your convenience as well as a lobby concierge service. Its located directly across the street from a trendy mall like facility. So if your craving some fresh juice bar treat, or Hooters, maybe a local Mexican restaurant or many other options. Then just cross the road and it's there. For those here to experience something at the sports arena or baseball stadium. It's a short walk. About 5 blocks or so away. For me I found the basilica catholic church to be breathtaking. It was just 1 block over and the Sunday or daily masses should not be missed. Just seeing and feeling the history there can leave you speachless. So let's see I covered the amazing staff. Delishious restaurant and bars on location. I talked about the air Conditioning and the views from the room. Did I mention the amazing staff. Yeah but they are worth mentioning twice. Ok ok I'll make the bad painless. My complaints are small. Upon arrival they did have my room ready even though I was about 3 hours early. Which was nice. But my room was very dusty. So I cleaned the dust off of the tables. Closet cabinet. The TV. The night stands and I wiped down the bath room shelf and countertop. No biggies I just don't like dust. My one allergy. Lol. The room is very nice with quality bedding and furniture, however it seems dated. Just old style nothing fancy or special that makes you feel warm and invited. One of the lamp shades on my night stands has a broken bracket. No problem I fixed that too. The shower head was also loose and leaking in every direction. Again. I fixed it quickly as well. All that was minor. My truly biggest complaint. The carpet. I love hotels that have clean fresh looking carpet. This room the carpet looked very dingy and dirty. The threshold to the bathroom was gross looking, it was dirty and fraid. For the amount the room cost I would think at least that issue could be fixed. Have the carpets steam cleaned and restretch the carpet to fit properly. Room 1521 just in case your wondering. But those complaints are pale in comparison to the staff. I'd be please to stay there again just to enjoy the company of the staff. So if anyone from the hotel happens to read this review. Thank you for employing such an amazing staff and for each of them making this Georgia Boy feel welcome like I was a regular. Also while here I celebrated my 20th anniversary and your staff treated that day extra special for me and my wife. Thank you. To everyone else reading this. Good luck and good eats.
