  • Hy-Vee, like all grocery stores (except the co-op) has its uses. GOOD deli meats and cheeses hot deli serves lotsa decent comfort food take-and-bake pizzas (they have a pretty good gluten-free crust) chinese deli is as good as any cheapo chinese restaurant, and a lot cheaper bulk M&M dispensers! Better selection of regular groceries than Copps house-brand frozen veggies are pretty good BAD regular groceries are kinda expensive, like Copps-level produce is hit-or-miss (but that's true everywhere) ice cream selection is not great They have a Caribou Coffee (eastside store only)
