  • I love this place. As a hobby farmer in Laveen, we have been needing a store like this for a long time. Hay for my horses, food for my dogs, scratch for my chickens.. we are here on a weekly basis. The service is great, all the workers recognize us and treat us like friends. The prices are pretty good, especially for horse care supplies when compared to the smaller farm supply stores within reach. They also have a really cool home section with gifts and decor that aren't the typical cheesy western store offerings. ONE thing I wish was different: they only offer horse tack on the western discipline. I'm an English rider, and I know I'm the minority out here in the wild west, but if cal ranch had English tack, I'd probably curl up in the corner and move in for good. Regardless, I'd recommended cal ranch a hundred times over.
