The best coffeehouse in Madison and secretly the best brunch spot.
Seating: Limited, but there are outdoor community tables so be ready to make new friends. People will stay to work on their laptop for a sizable amount of time, so you've been warned.
Menu: Full espresso bar, (the best dry cappuccino I have had in Madison to-date), alcohol, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, etc. I highly recommend the Sunday Morning Breakfast Sandwich and the bread pudding.
Ambiance: Local art on the walls (sometimes of the baristas themselves), old arcade game in the corner; at the risk of sounding like an out of touch grandma, here is where the trendy kids of Madison unite. They also frequently hold community events.
JPH single-handedly revitalized East Johnson Street and continues to uplift the local businesses that have grown around them. All praise is beyond deserved. Check them out.
