Rude. I've been to a couple of NYX stores in California and the sales staff has always been helpful. No greeting upon coming in, not being asked if I wanted help even though I waas clearly looking for something. I've been in here several times. The first time I was looking for an eyeliner and I described it and even showed the associate a photo of it; he said it was no longer being carried in store. 5 minutes later, I find it. He doesn't apologize for giving me mistaken information. Honestly everytime you ask them a question they appear bothered; they don't look like they enjoy or want to talk about make up, much less know anything about it. On another visit I asked the manager who was on the floor if they had any duochrome pigments. She shows me monochrome pigments with glitter in them. I tell her again that I am looking for duochrome pigments and she looks at me like I'm stupid and says that there's glitter in these. I say yes, there is a momochrome pigment with a different shade of glitter in there. She says "isn't that what duochrome is?" with a snotty attitude like I'm ignorant. I tell her no, a duochrome typically has NO glitter, it is a single shadow that reflects TWO different colors depending on the light shift. She grumbles and shows me some HIGHLIGHTERS and says I can use them as eyeshadow. I gave up. Even the manager knows nothing about make up and considering the abrasive attitude, clearly isn't even open to learning. Basically, only come here if you know exactly what you want and if you are prepared to spend 5 hours looking for it because the sales staff doesn't know where or what anything is. The sales staff clearly does not care if you purchase anything and walk out happy or empty ended and frustrated.
