I'm not sure if we just came in on an off day or what. Friday happy hour... Decent happy hour menu. We ordered a bunch of salmon nigiri and then a sashimi B plate. It was like $30 for 20 pieces of sashimi. We thought: yeah! Great deal! They do not have gluten free soy sauce. They don't give you any ginger. Wasabi paste was awful and stale tasting. The salmon nigiri was pretty great and we loved it, so we were so excited to try our sashimi plate. Ugh! The yellowtail was tough and dry, the salmon had a slimy white substance on it, the albacore was good but sliced so it was sinewy and not melt in your mouth like it is supposed to be. The whole plate was drenched in some kind of light brown liquid... Not really what I'm expecting when I order sashimi. Tataki, sure. But this liquid pooled in the middle of the plate and didn't really taste like anything. We did not finish our food, taking bites of this sub par fish grossed us out (we eat sashimi and nigiri weekly so this is not a new food to us). The plus side was the waitress was very nice and cheery. She didn't seem to notice we didn't finish our food. This place was a waste of $70... I do understand places have off days but I don't believe I will eat here again. The place is super dark so you can barely see what you're eating... Also the bathroom was pretty dirty for it being 3pm.
