I don't get all the negative reviews. Of course it is dark and stuffy, it is an Irish pub. More a sports pub really with all the TVs around showing sports channels. I find the food quite excellent, the fish & chips always juicy and tender, the bangers and mash are the real thing, pots pies galore made in typical British fashion, and they even have a curry and naan to cater to the more modern England. The beer is cool, the wine terrible; it is a pub. What I like about it though, is that if we go around 5 or 6pm my kids can have a great meal and not be bothered by drunk patrons and they actually ask to go back.
