We started off with the Fried Green Tomatoes. Very good, served with an excellent horseradish dill sauce.
I had the Shrimp & Grits, which were very good. My partner had the Chicken & Dumplings, which were Awesome!
Split decision on the Mac & Cheese, He liked it, I liked it more.
No debate on the Collard Greens or Homemade Biscuits....Awesome!
The Deviled Eggs were a bit disappointing. Not bad, but compared to every thing else, they tasted like an after-thought that had been hanging around for a while.
We were told all the deserts are homemade so we got the Vanilla Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie to go. It was a little on the sweet side, but very, very good.
The service was efficient & friendly. We are definitely looking forward to going back again.
