Came here on a recommendation that this placed served up some of Toronto's finest poutine and I have to say-not bad, not bad at all!
First off, yes if doesn't look like your typical corporate irish bar/pub, it's a bit divey. But inside is a little homey what with the carpeting, wooden chairs and tables, sort of like someone's basement rec room if you will. There's few beers on tap, better selection in bottles and the menu has the regular pub fare from burgers to nachos. And the poutine-well it was pretty good! Fries could have been cut a little thicker and more crispy but other than that the gravy was decent and they used real squeaky cheese curds. Just shows you don't have to go to some fancy la dee da place for some good poutine in town.
