I have mixed feelings about Kawa. Today was about my fourth visit and my sentiment hasn't changed.
What I do appreciate is that they actually make a good mocha. It's just not that hot, but it's yummy. I love that it's bright and great for people watching. I've not actually tried the treats or food, but the desert cabinet is definitely enticing. I'm not a fan of how loud it seems with conversation and music. I'd be totally good with it during the evening, but during the day it's not calming at all and not great for meetings. The seating also seems crowded and some of the seats themselves have seen better days. The fact that they supply cushions tells you that either a lot of bony butt people go here or they need better chairs. I do wish they had more assigned parking stalls, as I was lucky enough to get a free space today, but sometimes you're stuck paying for parking too. Maybe you have spare time to drive around the neighborhood to find other free space, but I don't always have time for that.
At the end of the day, I'd prefer a mocha to go, just as Erin G. would prefer a to go cup.
I'm excited that this is my 200th review!
