  • Although this is a bakery, I think of it as my favorite coffee shop in Yorkville. It has more character and better food than the nearby Lettieri and Starbucks. The coffee drinks are competent, the salads and sandwiches excellent. Service can be hit and miss, but it's OK on average. The outside patio is really pleasant, facing that lovely mini-park above Bay station. As always in Yorkville, expect to see some fake boobs on stilettos and affectation by vapid souls trying to make this Manhattan without knowing how. But they won't attack humans unprovoked, so you can still enjoy this little bakery on a lazy weekend afternoon.
