  • So I have put couple of outdoor patio chairs on layaway last year and have been making regular payments. I've paid them $539 so far. My last payment was made back in December of last year. I've past Smashin' Buys several weeks ago and notice the store boarded up. Come to find out they have went out of business and there phone number listed just goes straight to voicemail telling you that someone will call you back but they never do. I'm in process of submitting a claim to Arizona Attorney General to see if they can help me get my money back. What really pisses me off is that when i made my last payment the lady asked if i would be able to pay off layaway by February of 2015 and i said yes. She knew then that they were going out of business but didn't bother telling me instead she took my payment anyway
