  • Monday Dec, 28th we stopped in Carolinas dish for the first time. We were hungry and had to wait a while for our movie to start so we went in to have a bite. It was clean, the owner was very nice and attentive. He said they had Been there for to years! So we went ahead and ordered. I had the two piece dark meal. And my husband had the fried whiting. My chicken was great..my collards were a little left to be desired. But overall it was OK. My husbands side item the Mac n cheese didnt look appealing at all. It had a lot of pepper in it and cheese wasn't melted. It was reasonable in price, but I would like to finally get a soul food restaurant in Charlotte that will knock my socks off!! Overall I gave it a 2 I want to give a 2.5! Maybe it will last I like supporting small businesses..will I return..hmmm probably not. Sorry..
