I looked up this place at least 5 years ago in an attempt to find other Korean Spas like Spa World in VA. Fast forward to a month ago. I found Imperial ago because of Groupon. It worked out perfectly because I was going to Vegas. My boyfriend and I came here for an evening of relaxation. I think I've been spoiled by Spa World. This place was no comparison at all.
Let's start with the positives. It is a very clean facility. It looks like it has been renovated within the past few years. I like how the rooms have personal "pockets" for maximum relaxation so you don't feel so cramped being close to others in the heat. My favorite room had to be the red clay balls. It wasn't many people there so the rooms were quiet and that was very relaxing. The staff was very friendly as well.
Now, the negatives. There were less rooms and they have a salt room in the separate locker rooms. The floors are very hot so you need flip flops in order to not scold your feet. We literally had to run out the rooms in order not to burn our feet. To combat the hot floors, it would be nice if they provided a runner rug in the hot rooms, like the one in the red clay ball room. I remember seeing other reviews about the sauna being a nude sauna. I was completely ok with that and didn't bring a swimsuit along. They have changed their sauna policy and allow swimsuits. Since everyone was wearing swimsuits, I didn't want to be the only one in the nude so I opted not to use the saunas. Something that was really odd was seeing a jug of milk sitting in the ice room. If they aren't properly storing milk, I'm curious about how they are storing their food. I don't believe this is a trip worth making the next time I come to Vegas.
