| - I just had the worst experience at Borics today. I took my son in for a boys cut and we were told that the computers were down. One girl was on the phone trying to figure it out while the other cut hair. There was one man in front of us getting a quick cut so we decided to wait. As soon as the stylist finished with the guy in front of us, which took much longer than I anticipated, we had waited around 30 minutes. The other stylist cleaned up her station and then said to the one on the phone, "I'm going next door (to eat). Want anything?" The girl on the phone had been on the whole time and there was no end in sight. The only reason we waited was that we thought we would get a cut by the stylist who was actually cutting once she finished with the guy before us. I stopped her on the way out and said, "Excuse me, do you know how long it's going to be?" She said, "I don't know. The other girl is the one that's going to cut your hair, so you'll have to ask her."
I'm wondering why she can't do it since it is a quick boys cut and because the other girl is trying to fix the computer and because I have been waiting with an antsy 4 year old for 30 minutes. I look to the other girl to see if she has any input and she's sucking on a sucker on hold and casually shrugs her shoulders and says, "I dunno." I have no idea why they didn't tell me a half hour prior either a) the only cutter available is on the phone and there's no end in sight to your waiting, or b) the cutter who is not on the phone is going to take her lunch even though you are sitting here waiting and you will have to wait until her lunch is over to be seen by her. In short, lady, you're going to be here for a long time.
They told me nothing and instead of getting off the phone for 15 minutes to cut my sons hair, or instead of postponing her break for 15 minutes to cut my sons hair even though we were the only ones there and had clearly put in some time, they were both all too happy to give me a phony "sorry" and continue on. This was the worst customer service I have ever gotten and frankly it ruined my afternoon since my son had a total meltdown on the way out because he was excited to get his hair cut, had waited 30 minutes to that end, and now couldn't. Also, they cut my other son's hair yesterday and he looks like Floyd from Dumb and Dumber. I was going to avoid that today with more specific instruction, but after their total lack of customer service and bad attitude, I will NEVER go back here again.
