  • Came here recently as it was on my list of places to try when visiting Montreal. Called day of on Saturday and was able to get a table for 2 at 645pm. We got served the complimentary bread and butter. Butter was cold, which made it terrible for spreading. I'm not sure why some restaurants don't provide room temp or whipped butter as it just comes off as cheap otherwise. We ordered the bone marrow, ravioli and hanger steak. The bone marrow was as expected and not bad. The ravioli was decent and had a interesting mushroom sauce. The steak was cooked well however the fries seemed fairly oily (puddle of oily at the bottom). Overall, I think the prices are above average for what you get and the experience is average at best. I feel like this is one of those restaurants that's been around a long time and is surviving due to its history vs the actual food quality.
