First time I have ever checked in AND out of a hotel within an hour!!! Beware! We arrived at 3pm to the front lobby to a line at the check in desk about 6 parties deep. We waited 15 min to arrive up to the agent and told her we wished to check in and gave her our name. We had already booked the room online and prepaid for a king club room on the 14th or 15th floor with a view of the river. The employee acted as if she didn't know what was going on and as she told us info like parking rates and such, we had to inform her that we had already prepaid for the parking garage with in and out privileges. She stared at the PC and finally hand wrote out two parking tickets to insert into the toll machine on our way out of the garage and informed us that we would have to come back to the front desk to get another set of tickets if we choose to leave the garage during our stay. Then she informed us that an employee called off work and that the club room would be closed during our stay. She hand wrote out small coupon like cards to present at the bar instead for a free cocktail and snacks. The club room came with free cocktails and snacks from 5:30-8:00 but since it was going to be closed we would each get one drink and an appetizer at the bar in the lobby. We were okay with that since she said the free continental breakfast in the club room the next morning would still be served. This check in procedure took 20 minutes before we had our keys. We rode the elevator to the 15th floor to find our room (1500) and when we keyed into the room it was immediately apparent that this was NOT the room we paid for. Instead of a king bed, it had a full size bed. Also, there was no view of the river... this view was of the top of a roof next door. We used the room phone to call the front desk and the lady that answered told me she would have to call me back after I told her our dilemma. I hung up and we waited 20 min trying not to sit down or use the facilities in that room. I recalled the front desk when no one called me back and was told that the king rooms with a view on the club level were not cleaned yet and what did I want to do? I chose to move to the 12th floor for our king room with a view of the river and we agreed that a bellboy would bring the key up to us and meet us at room 1225. We headed down to the 12th floor and stood another 20 minutes outside the room waiting in the hallway. At this point we were OVER it and rode the elevator down to the lobby to stand in the line another 15 min to check out.... NEVER AGAIN....!!!
