  • I'm not a fan of most public paintball arenas, but this place is pretty awesome. It's set up in a huge warehouse with nets dividing the various paintball fields (I think there are five, though we only played on two). Each field is covered with a thick sand (excellent for falling/diving), various obstacles (stacks of tires, oil drums) and large 'bases' (wooden forts, cars, trucks and busses, etc). The fields were just big enough that we didn't feel enclosed, but small enough to contain the game. We got a group package, which starts off with a basic package (includes marker, mask, coveralls and paintballs) for $43, which is good for about an hour of playing and you can upgrade from there. I'd highly recommend upgrading your gun/marker to the model with the target barrel - it will make a huge difference in your accuracy. Don't bother with the 'full auto' gun - it's useless. If you want to play longer than an hour (or you have an itchy trigger finger), buy more paintballs. Most importantly, GET THE GLOVES (or bring your own). Everyone walked out of there with cuts and scratches and chunks taken out of their hands. The feature of this package that I really appreciated is that your time on the field is based on how many paintballs you have - basically, you play until you're out of paint. If you buy more paintballs (you can upgrade your package to 300, 500, 700, etc) you stay on the field longer. There is no one harassing you to hurry up and no clock you need to worry about.
