| - This place is both hidden, and a gem - regrettably, not a gem for the coffee... It is a quiet place, with mediocre Wi-Fi, and plenty of room to study/work/hang out.
Other than the décor, almost every other part of this place seems 'phoned in'. The staff is not particularly enthusiastic. Occasionally, they are a little frightening (and not in the cool way). The food seems as though it was picked up a Cosco and then microwaved. Most of the coffee drinks taste as though one could get them from Keurig machine.
It is always a hope that one finds an independent copy shop that is interesting, delicious, cool, and a hidden gem. Somehow, I feel as though three stars solidly manages expectations inasmuch is what you should expect from this establishment.
If the nearby Starbucks wasn't so spectacularly slow, I would suggest it. However, if you actually want an out of this world coffee shop experience head to either Sunrise Café (on Sunset), or Samba Latte (on Jones). Both deliver what you are looking for...
