This place was recommended by our hotel. We were looking for something casual with some TVs to watch sports. It was a bit crowded when we walked in, but it's near the financial district so it looked like people hanging out after work. Soon after we arrived the cheerleaders for the Charlotte Bobcats arrived. We were a little confused since the Bobcats didn't make the playoffs, but soon figured out it was a party for the draw. Coming from Los Angeles we're used to Laker parties at bars but had never attended a draw party. It was great! They gave away swag and had the draw on the big screen for everyone to cheer.
The night we were there was also Trivia night. I hadn't played trivia in awhile (doesn't seem to be to popular in LA) so thought it would be fun. Of course the teams with the most people tend to win but my husband and I had fun even though we came in second to last. They have pretty good prizes so if I ever worked in downtown Charlotte I would check it out again. The food was just okay, but the beer selection is great.
Overall, seems like a fun place.
