  • I have a collection debt that they refuse to negotiate down. I was late on one payment and they doubled the amount owed now. They charge a fee to take payments over the phone! I go in to handle this matter and I am standing there at the reception desk while the receptionist is on a personal call and not acknowledging anyone. I told them what I could afford to pay a month and it wasn't good enough for them. They threatened to garnish my spouse's check every 2 weeks if I didn't pay a certain amount! It did not matter I was unemployed or I have other bills. My spouse had a job and they could garnish double the amount each week. I have a reminder in my phone to go to the business to pay in person. Very rude and unprofessional. They use intimidation and scare tactics to get there way.
