This Hotel was a letdown from the first. Billed as nicest place to stay in Madison, we found it dingy and small for a bigger building. The staff, to a one, was barely engaged and there is no bell service. We asked for a roll away bed at check-in and were still calling for one at 1:00AM, whereupon staff showed up with a luggage cart instead! The bathroom water glasses were dirty, there was used dental floss on the carpet and a very real sense the room was not fresh/clean. Too gross to order room service and eat in room.
The building was muggy and the the lobby smelled of car freshener gone wild. I have stayed in places that operated like this before and they were publicly owned. I would not be surprised to find this place is actually owned by the city or state.
Worst hotel I've been to in Wisconsin for years - the previous ones all being roadside motels.
