  • Albsolutely the worst utility company I have ever had to deal with! If you have a choice of any other gas company or go all electric, do it! I was poisoned by gas years ago and would never live in a property that has gas myself but my elderly parents were moving to Phoenix and the place they picked has gas. I called and set up the account prior to their arriving. Set up and appointment and told them specifically to call me when they were on their way as I live 10 minutes away and would meet them to enter the premises. It was set for 8-12 on Friday. I told them I had to be at work at 12:30 and she said it would be no later than 12:00. I kept waiting for a call and at 11:00 thinking that it would be soon I went to the property to wait. Arriving at the property I found a note that they had been there at 9:40am and to call to reschedule. They guy said he called my number and no answer - I didn't miss any call that morning in that time frame. He completely lied about calling. I called and spoke to a total witch named Mercedes - like the car, she said, who is supposedly a supervisor.I told her I needed the gas turned on in the next 45 minutes as my elderly parents would be arriving early Monday and I was working all weekend. She said it wasn't going to happen and they don't work weekends. She said I could accept an appointment for the following Monday after 7:00am or she would just disconnect the account whichever I preferred. I told her I have to be at work at 9:30 so if they were there at 7:00 I could be there. She said no after 7:00 - I said ok be there at 7:01 and she said no. Would not give any time frame except after 7:00 on Monday. I told her I have to work 9:30-5:00 and said that I can leave the door unlocked so they can enter. I told her my parents furniture is arriving today and I wasn't going to leave a door unlocked where someone could just come in and steal. Again she said to accept the scheduled appointment, although there wasn't an appointment time, just sometime Monday or she would just disconnect the account. So come Monday my 80 year old may have hot water and a stove or may not. Completely worthless and rude and lie and don't care if they make a mistake you can just suffer and be inconvenienced for it!
