I LOVE Sarafino's! They are BYOB and might be my most favorite place to eat Italian food.
Every time we come here (which is a lot) anything we order is always so delicious and perfectly seasoned AND the portions are so huge I almost always have leftovers for the next day.
The servers are friendly and awesome - Daisy, Melissa and the newest addition Tonya - love all 3. They all make us feel welcome and right at home there and we love coming to see them.
Food wise, for starters we usually get the beans and greens but lately we've been getting the polenta - which is stick to your ribs delicious-especially when it's cold outside.
For dinner, my usual is the Rita's, switch out the penne with gnocchis and add meatballs - which I always say I'll get something different but never do because I love it so much. However, we went on a Friday during lent so I had to find something else. What's great is they always have seafood/fish specials so I ended up getting the pasta scoglio in a red clam sauce - and wowee wow wow- did I love it! It was full of flavor and chock full of mussels and shrimp and scallops - every bite had a delicious bit of seafood-I was in love.
Hubby got the Chilean sea bass special - which was out of this world. Honestly, everything we get here is so tasty you can't go wrong with anything you order - highly recommend trying this off the beaten track place - we absolutely love it.
Ps I loved my dish but was so sad I didn't get my usual so when my sister wanted to come here for her birthday the next night I was thrilled to say - sure it's your birthday, whatever you want. :-) guess what I ordered?
