| - If you're already downtown or staying in the Sheraton, the bar is great for happy hour! They have some decent deals and some great cocktails, also some especially good appetizers. They also have $9 lunch deals and $22 dinner deals if you go at the right times. Pretty cool considering you can get a well-cooked steak for $9 at lunch. My main gripe as many others have mentioned is the service.. just always sub-par every time I've been.
At happy hour the restaurant bar has a $9 mixologist cocktail of the day, some reasonable house wine deals, and $3 beers, plus many appetizers are half off! You can have a few beers and an appetizer for like $10 basically, not bad at all. They also have one decent brand liquor for each category on special at this time too if that's what you prefer.
I work downtown so I've also been over here for lunch, and for $9 some of their fancier dishes are a bargain. You can get a great steak or salmon filet! The food quality is excellent, especially for the price. However, depending on when you go be prepared to wait. I've come to the conclusion that the lunch hour is just perpetually understaffed. Maybe its only for the summer, but it takes awhile to even get regular drinks out (iced tea/soda), let alone the food. With 8 people, our session once took an hour and a half from start to finish, though another time we were in and out in a half hour. Not ideal if you have to get back to work.
The main shortcoming of this place, now that I've been a handful of times, is that it takes awhile to catch a waiter/waitress for something no matter what time of day you're there. Even with a larger group of people, they'll often disappear for 15/20 minutes at a time which is a little frustrating.
Overall its a decent place if you're in the area or staying at the hotel, especially for happy hour or their locked-rate specials at lunch/dinner, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Where they really shine is the food quality, and excellent mixed drinks. Service could really use some work. Rest assured I'll be back anyway, I work across the street.
