  • We were staying at the W this week for a local conference, so decided to eat here on Sunday night. We live in San Francisco & love Roka Akor, but wanted to try something different. We loved it! The yellowtail sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth delicious & all the specialty rolls we had were great too. And oh! Don't forget the toro tartare! Ermegawd, I was in heaven. The waiter we had was super nice, very attentive & even scored us a free dessert, as he overheard us mention our anniversary was coming up in the next month or so. Sunday nights are a great time to dine here, as all wine & sake by the bottle is 1/2 price! So we had some sweet M &C for a great price. In addition, on Sundays in their bar, they have an all-night Happy Hour stating at 4pm. The drinks were tasty, albeit kinda weak ( not a surprise) but the food was really good & generous portions for only $5 per plate. So we came here after a day of lounging at the pool..then went back to our room, napped, showered, came back for dinner 4-5 hours later. Good times. :)
