| - Harmony House is a cool concept, but somehow it just doesn't work. It's a music store/antique store. Which could be fun, but maybe they should cut out one half and just focus on expanding the antiques or the music portion, but not both.
About their music selection: it's just okay. And they don't carry any big names, so don't expect to find Fender anything here. They do however, carry generic items, which might be good for kids just starting out on the guitar or drums. They're also a little overpriced, but I think it's because they're a mom 'n' pop operation and can't compete with the chain prices of places like Guitar Center.
The staff always looks at me as if I'm going to steal something at any minute too, which I find disconcerting and more than a little strange. Do I look like a klepto? Come on!
About the antiques: eh. It's a pretty big selection, but I haven't found anything great within it. I don't know...it's an interesting store, and definitely worth checking out, but as for me, I go elsewhere.
