| - I had been told this was the "best buffet in town", naturally such a dare made us visit and try for ourselves. As a family of Chefs I realize we are prejudiced and expect above average food but this buffet was mediocre at best. Yes, it's cheap, $16 pp but this does not excuse the terrible food. The best of "over 200" offerings were: the cherry cider, the rib In food, period. Even the Mac n Cheese was runny. Asian food? Meh.... Seafood very frozen tasting. They authentic standout were the desserts: creme brulee, hazelnut cream, flourless chocolate cake and cream puff, a truly excellent pistachio raspberry cup with a truly sophisticated taste (Bravo! Pastry Chef is making magic here) and a non sweet Tiramisu with true flavor, quite daring. Once more, its ice cream and not "gelato" no such animal exists here (and if you've ever tasted gelato in Venice you know what I mean). Anyway, if a cheap meal is what you're looking for I can think of quite a few other places where the price of this place would give you a much more satisfactory meal. Skip it.
