  • This is a top notch museum! I have only been to two other museums that compare, The Smithsonian Natural History in Washington DC and the New York museum of natural history in NYC. It is located right in Downtown Toronto alongside pretty impressive shops, like Tiffany's Louis Vuitton etc. Really cool and modern building, it doesn't look as big from the outside, but the place is huge! Al you come in you are greeted by a huge dinosaur fossil with color changing light, we began our tour in Asia. Impressive collection of artifacts. I don't think I've seen a better collection elsewhere. I especially LOVED the mineral and stones collection, I must have spend over an hour just in that section. The only other collection of minerals and gemstones of that caliber I have seen was in NYC. I loved it. I also loved the Dinosaurs exhibits. I was never able to catch it in New York, it was always closed so this was a real treat for me. I can go on and on about how great this place is, I just leave you all with a strong recommendation. If you are ever in Toronto, make time to visit this museum!
