| - This is a quality restaurant tucked in a little shopping plaza, so there's always good parking available. I've eaten in several times and have not had complaints. The owner is nice, the staff is very polite and friendly, and the food is prompt. The ambiance and decor are beautiful and create a feeling of intimacy, and the music is soft and relaxing.
I've tried a good portion of their food, ranging from the appetizers, soups, lo mein, and chef specials. They're all very delicious. I'm particularly fond of the general tso's chicken/shrimp and sesame chicken/shrimp. I've tried a couple of their special sushi rolls; I can't remember their names, but again, they tasted yummy and fresh. I have yet to try out their hibachi which is attached next door, so I can't speak on that.
The only disappointment I have ever experienced from this place is when I ordered delivery twice. First off, delivery is prompt. It took no longer than 20 minutes both times. But for some reason, the general tso's chicken tasted mushy and old when it was delivered. I'm guessing it was from the heat trapped in the container when it was being delivered? I'm not sure. The chicken sort of fell apart into pieces when I put my fork in it, and it did not taste good. Because of this, I try to eat in only, or order something that is not battered when getting delivery. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
So overall, I certainly recommend this place. Definitely check out Silk Road if you haven't already.
