What a quaint spot on a strip of hipper, newer looking establishments. I had the peach tea, which was a white tea - needed a little pick me up on an intense, 19-hour day. It was nicely brewed, and that's the most difficult thing about teas is the brewing time.
They had these little brewing apparatuses (apparati? lol) that they used for the tea, and they seem to work well. Haven't seen that before, but it is a place that takes tea pretty seriously. When you get the homemade bags, the tea gets over-steeped, changing the flavor and feel of it. Here that's not the case. A little on the pricey side but it's worth it.
Also they have a modest food menu here with different toasts (the bread is delicious and completely fresh). I had a cup of sweet potato-black bean soup which was so needed on this long day of constant rain. Sweet potato was a little mushy but expected in a soup. Good flavor, very savory.
Go here if you like tea, they have so many options!
