  • Worst store in the central Phoenix area. After selecting over $200.00 worth of groceries I arrive at the one and only check stand open with 6 other patrons and proceed to wait for 20 minutes to be checked out. When I asked the manager, Mike Ditrioa to have another register he informed me that their was no one else in the store to help us. When I inquired as to his capability to open a register and check us out, he replied rudely, I can but I am too busy. He walked away and left us all waiting. Shame on Safeway! Avoid this store and spend your money elsewhere. See attached if busy manger smoking while we all wait!!!!
