  • I have to say this place is interesting. The atmosphere is nice, I love the old church vibe. The service was up to standards. Very prompt and friendly. Though the vibe is nice, the food is the most important part! I ordered the taco plate. I got the adovada, duck, and shrimp with rice as my side. The adovada was amazing!!!! I wish I ordered three of them. 10/10. However, the duck was gross. Actually gross. It tasted dirty. The shrimp was OK but definitely not anything special. I would not order it again but I wasn't horribly disappointed. The side of rice was obviously old because it was crunchy and tasteless... sadly. Finally, the food came out extremely fast. Too fast. Too fast to be anything close to fresh. Overall, I would come here again but I wouldn't come for dinner. It was too spendy ($19 with tip) for only one good taco. I'd be more willing to come for happy hour when things are cheaper and I won't be annoyed with subpar food because the menu was interesting. Though, interesting is only good if executed properly.
