Let me begin by saying the food here is very well prepared, fresh and good quality. The ambiance is definitely family friendly. The restaurant appears clean and wait staff
Professional. The lasagna may be the best we've had. The restaurant does not sell alcoholic beverages, but supports a BYOB policy. Now for the bad news. As previously stated by a couple of other reviews, the restaurant is a cash only business. I get that....It's a business decision. However what troubles me is the bill is not itemized. As we did the math, our bill appeared to be approximately $10-$15.00 more then we calculated based on the prices printed on the menu. We have traveled around the world and have never seen a bill in a restaurant that only reflects a "total". Is this legal in Arizona? Based on other reviews, people have been publicly humiliated for questioning their bill, so I decided to let it slide. However, I felt ripped off and in spite of the good food will probably not go back. This is Scottsdale and there are so many equally good restaurants to choose from. I would like to know if this "total bill" practice is legal, so I will check with a couple of my legal eagle friends for future reference.
