  • Well, Well, Well, where do I begin??? 6 of us stayed in 3 rooms at the Linq from March 11th - March 16th, 2015. We all bet sports, and it was conference tournament week. Upon our arrival, we all made some bets and grabbed a beer at the bar. THIS WAS THE LAST TIME ANY OF US PLACED A BET HERE. The guy with the tie & glasses on, the "Manager" at the Sportsbook, was an arrogant asshole. We asked him a couple simple, standard questions, and his answers were short and snippy. So much for customer service, when there are 100 other places we could give our money to. When our rooms were ready, my cousin and I checked out our room, and the shampoo and body wash dispensers were both lying on the shower floor. It appeared the "maintenance dept" tried unsuccessfully to caulk them to the wall, EPIC FAIL, as the caulk was still wet. The next day there were about 50 college basketball games scheduled, so we wanted the paperwork from the Sportsbook with the game times and overnight lines listed, which is standard. When we asked "Mr. Jagoff" at the Sportsbook where the paperwork was, he told us "We don't have it yet, what would you like me to do???" Oh really, guess what, the 6 of us spent the next 5 days losing THOUSANDS of dollars, at the Westgate and Red Rock Resorts. When we tallied up our losses from sports betting, we lost approx $25,000 combined, that should have gone to the LINQ, but did not. From that moment forward, we had ZERO interest in doing anything other than sleeping and showering at the LINQ. The dick at the Sportsbook made it seem like we were asking for something special when all we wanted was a list of the games with the times and the lines, this piece of paper requested was available EVERYWHERE but the LINQ. The next day, I sat down at a slot machine to kill time, and guess what, water started leaking on my shoulder from the lighting fixture above. TRUE STORY!!! NASTY!!! It took the maintenance dept hours to resolve this...Later that day, there was construction going on (What else is new), in the area close to the elevators, and another guest tripped over a ladder that the workers left lying on the floor right where people walk...UNREAL...The next day, after getting my morning coffee from Starbucks, I walked back into the LINQ, and inside the front steps was a pile of dried blood from hours earlier, not cleaned up, GROSS!!! My crew and I still ended up having a great trip, we were not going to let the TOILET known as the LINQ ruin our trip. But whoever is in charge at the LINQ needs to know that a lack of customer service by 1 employee, took our gambling elsewhere, and we lost our asses at casinos we did not even sleep at. Also, get the daily sports lineup sheets EARLY, people want them available!!! The parking situation as well, dust, noise, construction, confusion, etc all was a terrible nuisance too. None of else will ever step foot in this DUMP again!!! A little customer service goes a long way!!! Don't open when you are clearly not ready to be open!!!
