In the beginning there was quick responses to my questions but toward the end of the loan process Jason Andrews ( Loan Officer) dropped off the map. I couldn't get any type of response from him. The support staff had to contact him for me to answer my questions during the different stages.
During the Loan Process I found 2 major cost mistakes on their part,
1. They quoted a certain prices for the loan costs, but after the paperwork was sent to me I noticed there was a higher total. I found this was buried in the title services fee. I promptly asked about it and it was corrected.
2. Towards the end of the loan process I really had to check on the exact paperwork. I found numerous mistakes and cost passing (they extended the loan and had to call my bank of numbers rerunning, which cause more fees they tried to pass off to me) In the end after I called them out on it they took off the costs, which was fair.
Overall I would recommend then if you are willing to monitor every step of the process to ensure accuracy. Cost wise, they were cheap. I was frustrated at times with the communication and accuracy of the fees, but because I am very detailed oriented and pushy to get things corrected I came out with a completed loan at the correct cost. I felt as if I had to keep pushing to get them to take action to correct their mistakes, but in the end they were willing (with some encouragement on my part).
For anyone considering using Roundpoint, be very watchful of the costs sheets and contact them as much as possible to answer your questions.
