  • I've been a fighter pilot for 25 years so it is a HUGE deal allowing someone to cut the front of my eye off and squirt laser energy in there! I am now 1 week on and have 20/15 distant vision while my close vision has not really degraded even though I am in the 40+ "reading club". Everyone in the surgery was great and it really comes across that they genuinely enjoy their work. Reading previous reviews, yes, the, "follow the green dot" thing is a little difficult because for most of the procedure you are blind to everything but a little red fuzz (like grey-out in flying), but Dr Rothman has a great way to direct you... so just relax and do exactly what he says. I think I made an excellent choice going with these guys and I already have 2 friends who will now go in for treatment. It's just a shame my job prevented me from getting this done 15 years ago! Don't wait like I had to... get it done :)
