  • ******************* 1653 **************** Public House is on the Restaurant Row at the Venitian. We were here for a late 3rd dinner meet up with work people for CES. It's a gastropub upscale sport bar & eatery inside the Venetian offering cask ale, 24 taps & a deep wine selection. Hot waitresses work here but not that friendly. My colleagues wanted to have a photo taken with her but she turned down twice. She was from India. We asked the manager, an older gent was nice to apologize and said she would, but she refused the second time. Kind of ruined the mood for my colleagues at that time. No big deal, the nice manager made up for it. - The Burger was good and juicy. - The Lobster Cobb Salad was good. - Beer Brined Chicken Wings was good. We had a bottle of Sea Smoke Pinot Noir and Hitching Post, they were both good and well priced for Vegas. They offer a good list of Grand Cru Bordeaux & Burgundy from Petrus to Haut Brion, Mouton Rothschild to Cheval Blanc, and even a DRC. Use the corporate AMEX! Plenty of TVs for you to catch up on games. If I'm staying at the Venitian or the Palazzo, I come here but I'm not going out of my way to come here if I stay at other hotels.
