| - It was my first time visiting Clear Vision. I found them through Yelp, gave them a call, and had an appointment within a week. Dr. Wong was wonderful and very kind. She was very thorough when doing my eye exam and made sure all my questions were answered before sending me off.
When it came time to picking my frames, Rhonda, the optician manager seemed incredibly helpful at first. She was really patient and made me feel like I was saving money by buying my contacts and glasses together. She told me I would be paying $300 the entire time, but when it came time to pay, the total came out to $437. That was such a big difference & she told me it was because I picked a more expensive frame. I was thrown off because I was holding the same pair for over 20 mins. When I didn't feel comfortable with the price I had to pay, even after my insurance kicked in... seeing that it was $437.... she made me feel better by telling me I could break it into 2 payments. I put $200+ down while I was there. As I was driving home, I realized I was spending TOO much money. So I stopped my car & gave them a call. This was less than 10 minutes after I left and I asked Rhonda if I could get a refund because I would rather go somewhere else and spend less, but she told me I would have to pay a restocking fee and wouldn't be able to use my insurance elsewhere since I went there. She told me I would lose out on $200. I told her that she never mentioned that & she told me it's on their website.... If that's the case, they should mention that to the patients. I found that to be very unprofessional and wish there was more that could've been done.
At the end of the day, I felt like all she did was try to upsell me and just wanted me to trust her judgement so that I would buy the more expensive pair of glasses. I felt ripped off and wasn't even happy with my purchase.
Pros:
-Very nice facility
-Sweet optometrist
-Great for last minute scheduling
Cons:
