  • This place used to be so much better. Now, I'd really just go here for the desserts... I've been coming to Gullifty's for many, many years and was always happy with my food and desserts. The last several times I've gone, however, I've been very disappointed with my food and the service has moved at a glacial pace even when there haven't been many patrons in the restaurant. Food-wise, I always order one of their salads (Pittsburgh style with fries and cheese on top) and the last time was so disappointing; not only was the lettuce browning and wilted, but I had less than a handful of fries on top, no cheese at all, and one cucumber, 2 grape tomatoes, etc. It was really disappointing... Just stick to the desserts here; they never fail to please! The parking situation: there is street parking on Murray if you can find it (free after 6pm) and there is also a metered lot behind Gullifty's. You can also try parking across the street at Giant Eagle; I usually do this when I can't find street parking and I could use an opportunity to pick up something from the store...
