  • Milk tea is the specialty! For all who haven't gone crazy for boba yet, it's basically a sweet drink that combines milk, flavored tea and tapioca pearls that are sucked up through an extra large straw and chewed. Needing our cravings satisfied, we ventured into the store to see what they had to offer. Located right next EOS Fitness, parking is a give or take. Either there are plenty of spots or none at all. It is a reasonably small shop with a couple tables, chairs, and sofas for customers to sit and enjoy their drinks. Only suggestion would be to have a couple more chairs and tables for customers. If more than 8 people decide to sit down and drink their boba at the same time, there would be a problem with the little seating space available. However, the place seemed clean and well-kept. Their menu had plenty of choices, from teas, iced milk (like how the worker described it to Melissa V., it is a blend of ice, milk, and brown sugar), and slushes. There are also plenty of toppings. Boba, grass jelly, aloe jelly, you name it! It's a great way to personalize your drink and add a bit more flavor to it. Their cups are decently sized for their prices, as well. However, unless you aren't planning on driving home while drinking your boba, don't get the large, fat container! It won't fit most drink holders in cars (me and my boba-smelling driver's seat can attest to that). After contemplating on what to get, I decided on Thai milk tea with boba while my friend ordered the avocado smoothie with boba. Drinks were made fast and efficiently. However, the taste was just...eh. I could barely detect the usually strong taste of Thai tea in my drink. My friend let me sample her avocado drink, but all I thought was changing the drink name to "Green sweet milk drink". The only resemblance it had to avocado was the color. Like I had mentioned, the drink tasted of watery, overly-sweet milk. The boba, too, was undercooked. It was chewy on the outside, but once you hit the middle you are left with a hard, powdery texture. To top it off, the workers in the back were in front of the register on their phones in broad daylight. Not only that, but one of the two workers during that shift never pried their eyes off their phone during the entire time I was there. I found that quite rude. Maybe I shall give this place another time. Hopefully by then, the quality of food and service will increase. But for now, driving across town for this delicious drink will have to do.
