The only good point about Friday's Front Row is the view. My wife and I had come about 2 hours early for the Diamondbacks' game and decided to eat at Friday's Front Row rather than eat the stadium junk food for supper.
When we arrived, the waitress wanted to seat us in the booths away from the window, despite there being several open tables next to the window overlooking the field and the players having batting practice. We had to push for getting a seat next to the window because those seats weren't in her zone. So for us sitting there, she had to surrender us to another waitress. So goes the competitive world of being a waitress. We just wanted the better seat.
Now in our better seat next to the window and watching the Reds' players having batting practice, we had 20 minutes to look at the menus because the waitress was quite slow in returning to take our order. This despite a sign on the table saying that patrons were limited to 1 hour at this table.
We finally ordered. I got the Jack Daniels Burger while my wife got a salad. My burger wasn't that great. Not that big of a meat patty and it was lukewarm. It probably had been sitting for a few minutes before the waitress ever brought it out.
Anyway. Eat here for the atmosphere, not for the food.
