  • My family has been a member for a year now. We really like La Camarilla because it is family oriented and not a "meat market". It's also good for the older set (50+) so I am quite comfortable there too. We don't play tennis, but they have a tennis academy and tons of courts. Also an outdoor pool for lessons and fitness. Good, clean and in working condition exercise equipment. We joined for racquetball! There's not much racquetball around anymore, but we can always get a court, and there's an informal tournament open to all levels on Thursday nights. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Although there are great classes, I work full time, and the good ones never seem to be when I can get there which is from 5pm forward. Otherwise, the one or two classes I have attended have been well attended (although not packed, which for obvious reasons is good), and well run.
