| - Ive lived here for close to a year now. If they'd just update the kitchen appliances and have more maintenance staff, this place would be a 5 star paradise. The apartments themselves are fine, the problems are in the management. There is only one maintenance guy for the entire complex. One. No matter how many times you put in a work order or call the office, he is always dealing with something more important than what you need fixed. Other residents have said that in a matter of just a few years, the rent has almost doubled. For the amount you pay to live here, you except things to be maintained. Our freezer stopped working and we lost an entire freezer full of food. He 'reset' the fridge by unplugging it and ta da that fixed it. But nothing was offered in terms of replacing over $100 dollars worth of food. They never come and change out the air filter youre better off buying your own and changing them yourself. The washer is broken and they've yet to fix that. The garbage disposal doesnt work even after they 'fix' it. Most residents clean up after themselves and their pets but some dont. The only saving grace here is that the walls and floors are well insulated and padded so you dont much hear your neighbors. The gate is broken and left open at all hours at least twice a month. Again, for what you pay, youd expect it to work. There was a recent change in office staff and the last girl seemed nicer and more caring. Also, the lawn company they hire comes way early in the morning so twice a month or so, it doesnt matter what your normal sleep/work schedule is, youre up because theyre out there leaf blowing and mowing. As other reviewers note, there are cockroaches. But its the desert. Theyre everywhere and theres no getting around that. Ive never seen one in my apartment, so thats good. If they'd just update the kitchen appliances and have more maintenance staff, this place would be a 5 star paradise.
