  • My husband checked online for a garbage disposal - even using homedepot.com's live chat feature and was told this store had 35 of the ones he was looking for. When he couldn't find it on his own, an employee was sent from the customer service desk to help locate it. The team member went back there, but at some point had clocked out and was standing back up around the desk. He made no mention to either my husband or the girl working the desk. When his presence was noticed, the employee simply said he'd told someone and they "should be looking for It." The woman at the desk called back to the back and he hadn't told anyone - no one back there seemed to know he'd been looking for anything at all. Luckily the woman working the desk was courteous and went back to look herself. Work ethic, Home Depot... it ended with my husband leaving empty handed after 45 minutes. Supposedly this is a brand new product but no one could find even a box. I would suggest ordering online and picking up in store so that you don't have the same issue! Waste of time and a trip.
