  • I had purchased a Groupon for a full acrylic set. First of all, I didn't get acrylic. The Nail Tech used a dip powder instead of acrylic. She claimed it lasted as long as acrylic but the next day 2 of the nails broke-off. Then 2 days later, 2 more nails broke off. The only good thing was that I didn't pay full price for them. The dip powder isn't as thick as acrylic, but It's like having store bought press-on nails. Risk not worth the reward.
