Pricy but extensive selection of bath furniture and accessories. Some of the floor salespeople were friendly and helpful, but service/checkout people were incredibly lazy and unhelpful. Visited Ginger's at 3:20pm on Sunday December 18th for the first time ever and only one person working the checkout counter for this massive store. The lone cashier was helping one family with pricechecks and other advice as 4 groups of customers were in line. Other salepeople floated around the other cash register but did not try to open it for sales. After about 10minutes, the woman in line in front of me went to the front reception desk and we could hear her asking them if there was anyone else who could help with checkout or if there was somewhere else she could pay. Reception lady coldy told her 'nope, only place you can pay for that is that sales counter there'. The customer dropped her items on the counter and walked out unhappily. A middle-aged caucasian gentleman *manager or salesperson?) in glasses took her items back from reception to the checkout line (where we were lined up) with a huge smirk on his face. After lining up for another 5minutes and with no movement in the line, I too left the store and dropped my items. Although I only had $120-worth of reed diffusers in hand and was probably deemed an 'inconsequential' customer by this store, these stores need to realize that a loyal customer sometimes starts with a small first purchase and an initial good experience. This unfriendly store needs to learn about customer service and has lost at least two customers now indefinitely. We were visiting this store with local family members who are new homeowners (looking for more extensive furniture) and they too were quite unimpressed.
